Absinthe hallucination reddit7/6/2023 It's something to have and keep around to impress or show off, but i cannot see it as something anyone would want o have on a consistent basis. The stuff is like gin on steroids in the congener department, it's not a pretty drunk, it's a sloppy nasty mind numbing drunk and since it's mixed with water i can only assume that it contributes to loosing track of home much you have had to drink. I have never gotten so drunk so fast with and other kind of liqueur ever and this includes grain alcohol. After melting the sugar on the spoon and watching it cloud up i have come to the conclusion mixing sugar and alcohol is a terrible decision. First is if you don't like the taste of anise then don't drink it, second if you do drink it the brands I've had will overpower any other flavor you could possible taste or combine into something horrible. I would like to make a few points with my experiences with the stuff. I don't care if you like to mix your booze or not because we all have different tastes and opinions. They want the booze and they want it to taste good to them. I just meant a lot of people who are buying alcohol aren't necessarily buying it to enjoy the bottle itself. I personally prefer straight or on the rocks and I let that slip out in my words. But you are right in that a lot of people are buying it for stuff like jagerbombs.Įdit* I don't mean to come across as a judgmental turd. I have other stuff they can mix if that's what they want. When I bring out my Jager I won't even give the option of mix. I do know a good number of people who do like an ice cold glass of Jager. They will absolutely drown out the booze. I'm not talking about just a splash either. People will regularly kill the booze with pop and juice. Doesn't matter if it's lower stuff like Blackstone, Red Tassel and Chinook or better quality in Grey Goose, Stolichnaya and Jim Beam.
